Wax Carving Jewelry Class

Location: Simply Creative - 1313 Chestnut Ave Minneapolis, MN 55403 (NEW STUDIO!!) 

Age Requirement: 18+ (16+ with parent in class) 

Details: 

Starting with a simple block of jeweler’s wax, you’ll carefully carve a ring or pendant using professional tools. 

With thoughtful guidance throughout the process, you’ll refine your piece into a form that feels personal and intentional. Once complete, you’ll have your piece cast in bronze metal using the traditional lost-wax casting process (or sterling silver for an additional fee), transforming your wax original into a lasting keepsake you can wear for years to come.

THE CASTING PROCESS

• Casting happens off-site and is not part of the class. You will leave your creation with us, and we will send it to casting experts to have it cast in sterling silver or bronze.
• Once your pieces are cast, we will ship them to you!
• Casting takes about 6 weeks. We will contact you via email, letting you know your piece is finished and has been shipped. 

CASTING PRICE

• You can purchase a $85 ticket, and no casting is included; you can choose to cast your piece in bronze or sterling silver for an additional fee after class. Or you can choose to leave without a finished piece and just take the class for the experience!
• You could also bundle and save by purchasing a $145 ticket, which guarantees your piece will be casted in bronze OR you can upgrade to sterling silver for an additional fee. 
• Sterling silver casting is an additional fee based on size and weight of the wax jewelry you make. The silver market is changing daily and the cost depends on the market price of silver the day of your class. 
• Sterling silver casting is much more expensive than bronze due to the current market price of silver. Its generally about $60-$100 more for sterling silver 

No experience is needed, just bring your creativity, and we supply everything else! 

Please arrive a few minutes early to find your seat as class starts on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late we will not be able to have you join the class.

**We do not offer refunds if you choose to cancel your spot in class. We can allow to transfer to another class if you need to cancel but you must contact us about doing so 10 days or more before the class you are scheduled to take. All sales are final.
