Private Sand Casting Ring Class for Two
Spend the day discovering one of the oldest metalworking techniques in the world while creating two truly one of a kind sterling silver rings.
This intimate workshop is just for you and your partner, allowing for personalized instruction and plenty of one-on-one guidance throughout the day. Over the course of 5–6 hours, you’ll learn two jewelry-making techniques: professional wax carving and traditional sand casting.
In our most hands-on jewelry experience, you'll begin by carving your ring from a block of jewelry wax, shaping every detail into the design you've envisioned. Once your carving is complete, you'll use it to create a sand mold before pouring molten sterling silver into the mold to cast your ring. After the metal has cooled, you'll clean, sand, and polish your rings until they're ready to wear.
By the end of the experience, you'll leave with two one-of-a-kind rings that you created with your own hands. Rings that carry not only your commitment, but the memories of making them together.

Your investment of $700 total for 2 people includes:
- A full day (5–6 hours) of expert instruction (with a lunch break)
- Professional jeweler’s wax
- Casting your ring in sterling silver- up to 20g (anything larger will require extra metal which will be charged at market rate-note: most rings are under 20g)
- All tools, equipment, and safety materials
- Polishing and finishing supplies
- Two completed sterling silver rings to take home the same day
Private Wax Ring Making Class
Create something truly one-of-a-kind together in this intimate, private wax carving jewelry experience for two. Guided by an expert metalsmith, you’ll each carve your own ring or each other's ring from jeweler’s wax, shaping, refining, and designing pieces that are uniquely yours. Your wax designs will then be professionally cast into bronze with the option to upgrade to sterling silver or solid 14k gold for an additional fee.

• Two custom ring designs carved by you will be mailed to your home approximately 4-6 weeks after class.

Enjoy a private, intimate ring-making experience for two, guided by an expert metalsmith in our cozy studio. You’ll use professional tools and high-quality sterling silver or 14k gold-filled materials to create two matching or complementary rings, designed by you and made with intention.
