Details: Immerse yourself in color, texture, and movement in this step-by-step mixed media painting class inspired by Claude Monet’s iconic Water Lilies. Using this beautiful piece as our reference, we’ll recreate a luminous section of the painting while exploring a variety of expressive techniques.

This class will incorporate finger painting, oil pastels, and palette knives, allowing you to layer color, build rich texture, and capture the dreamy, reflective quality Monet is known for. Local artist Molly Oleson will guide you through each step, demonstrating how the different mediums work together to create depth and movement while still encouraging personal expression.

🎨 All materials are included, and each participant will paint on a 16x20 canvas to take home. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike who want to experiment, loosen up, and enjoy a truly hands-on creative experience.
