Floral Ring Wax Carving Class

In this beginner friendly class, you'll be guided step by step through the process of creating realistic flowers from jeweler's wax by carefully cutting, shaping, and carving petals and leaves to create a one of a kind floral ring.

Think of the wax as a model of your future piece of jewelry. Every detail you carve into the wax will eventually become metal through "casting". 

Casting is not done during the workshop.

Once your design is complete, you'll leave your wax model with us and we'll send it to our professional casting partners, who will transform your wax creation into metal using the lost wax casting process.

You may choose to have your piece cast in:

• Bronze
• Sterling Silver (additional fee applies)

Casting typically takes approximately 6 weeks. Once your piece is finished, we'll ship it directly to you and send an email notification with tracking information.

$85 Experience Ticket

This ticket includes the workshop and all materials needed to create your wax design.

Casting is not included, but after class you can choose whether you'd like your piece cast in bronze or sterling silver for an additional fee. You're also welcome to simply enjoy the experience and take photos of your creation without having it cast.

$145 Bronze Casting Bundle

This ticket includes the workshop, all materials, and bronze casting of one piece.

If you would prefer your piece in sterling silver, you may upgrade after class by paying the difference between bronze and silver casting costs.

Sterling Silver Casting

Sterling silver casting is priced separately based on the size and weight of the piece you create. Because silver prices fluctuate daily, exact costs vary.

Most sterling silver castings cost approximately $60–$100+ more than bronze, depending on the amount of silver required for your design.

If you choose sterling silver, we'll provide your final casting cost after your piece has been weighed and evaluated by your instructor and you can pay this fee before you leave the class. 

Please arrive a few minutes early to find your seat as class starts on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late we will not be able to have you join the class.

**We do not offer refunds if you choose to cancel your spot in class. We can allow to transfer to another class if you need to cancel but you must contact us about doing so 10 days or more before the class you are scheduled to take. All sales are final.
