Design and create a pair of one-of-a-kind enamel earrings from start to finish in this beginner-friendly metalsmithing class!

You'll begin by learning how to use a jeweler's saw to cut your own unique earring shapes from sheets of copper. Whether you prefer modern geometric, organic or completely original designs, you'll create a custom canvas for your jewelry.

Next, discover the colorful art of enameling as you layer vibrant powdered glass onto your copper and fuse it with a torch to create a beautiful, durable finish. Experiment with colors and watch as your designs transform into glossy works of wearable art.

To complete your earrings, you'll learn how to drill clean holes in your metal and handcraft your own ear wires using your choice of sterling silver or copper wire. By the end of class, you'll leave wearing a pair of earrings that you can confidently declare "I can't believe I made these!!" about.

Along the way you'll learn valuable metalsmithing skills including:

  • Using a jeweler's saw
  • Cutting and shaping sheet metal
  • Preparing metal for enameling
  • Applying and firing vitreous enamel
  • Drilling metal
  • Forming ear wires

All tools, materials, and instruction are included. No experience is necessary; just bring your creativity, and we'll guide you through every step. You'll leave with a beautiful pair of handcrafted enamel earrings and the confidence to continue exploring the world of metalsmithing.

Please arrive a few minutes early to find your seat as class starts on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late we will not be able to have you join the class.

**We do not offer refunds if you choose to cancel your spot in class. We can allow to transfer to another class if you need to cancel but you must contact us about doing so 14 days or more before the class you are scheduled to take. All sales are final.
Refunds and Transfers

All sales are final. As a small business we can not offer refunds. We can transfer you into a future class if the date of your original class no longer works for you, however, we require 10 days notice. If you can't make it to class you can always gift your ticket to a friend.
