Metal Earring Making Class

Details: 

Design and create your own pair of handcrafted metal earrings in this elevated, hands-on workshop. 

In this class, you’ll learn foundational metalsmithing techniques, including how to safely use a jewelry saw to cut your shapes, hammer texture into metal for added dimension, drill clean holes, polish your pieces to a beautiful finish, and form your own custom ear wires from scratch.

You’ll leave with a completely unique pair of modern statement earrings that are lightweight, wearable, and entirely handmade by you.

This class is perfect for beginners who want an introduction to metalsmithing, as well as experienced makers looking to refine their sawing, texturing, and finishing skills in a supportive space. 

No experience necessary! Just come ready to create.

The main metal you'll be working with is brass, but you can make your ear wires out of sterling silver if you have sensitive ears. 

Please arrive a few minutes early to find your seat as class starts on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late we will not be able to have you join the class.
