Your teen will learn all the basics of metalsmithing and ring making and they get to leave with heirloom-quality sterling silver jewelry (or bronze jewelry if they choose the wax carving class). They will learn EVERYTHING they need to become jewelers in the making or just try out a new art form. You will explore the art of metalsmithing as you learn to shape, size, solder, and polish a custom piece of wearable art. Every detail you carve into the wax will eventually become metal through \"casting\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCasting is not done during the workshop.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOnce your design is complete, you'll leave your wax model with us and we'll send it to our professional casting partners, who will transform your wax creation into metal using the lost wax casting process.
